How it works
How to make a poster of your child's drawings
A step-by-step guide, from the pile of drawings to a poster on the wall. It takes a few minutes, and you don't need a scanner or an account.
Step 1: Photograph the drawings
Lay each drawing flat on a table in daylight and take a photo from straight above. Several drawings on one sheet is fine: we find each one.
Working on a computer? Scan the code on the screen with your phone and take the photos with it. They appear on the computer straight away.
- Daylight, without direct sun
- Turn off the flash
- Get the whole sheet in
Step 2: Check the photos
Upload the photos. Turn any that are the wrong way up, and check that the pink outline sits around the paper. If it doesn't, move the corners yourself.
- Turn photos left or right
- Move the corners if needed
- Up to 30 photos per poster
Step 3: We find the drawings
Press "Find the drawings". We straighten the page, correct the colours and cut out every drawing, so pencil lines and crayon texture stay crisp.
Each drawing becomes an item. Fix it, split it, rub out what isn't a drawing, star it as a favourite or mark it as one that may be used more than once.
- Fix yellow paper with one tap
- Star up to 3 favourites
- Small drawings can fill the empty space
Step 4: Make the poster
Press "Make my poster", and the drawings are arranged into a one-of-a-kind collage. Shuffle until you love it, or move and resize the drawings yourself.
Choose the size, the background and whether there should be text on the poster: a name, the years and a short greeting. Save the versions you like and choose between them.
- Shuffle, undo and redo
- Save versions and choose your favourite
- Preview the poster before you order
Step 5: Order, and we print and deliver
Choose the version you like best and order. The poster is printed on premium paper by our print partner close to where it's going, and sent with free shipping and tracking.
- Printed when you order
- Free shipping with tracking
- No account or subscription needed
